DRC - Training of Pastors and Evangelists

The Diocese of Bukavu is running training courses for 45 pastors and evangelists at Bible Schools in Bangwe, Bukavu and Rutshuru. Many of the pastors and evangelists do not have enough knowledge or experience to deal with the many challenges facing the Church in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. These training courses,supported by AOMF, aim to equip people with the necessary knowledge and skills. Intensive one month studies on topics such as preaching theGospel, evangelism, and pastoral care are followed by three months practical training in parishes.
