Partner: Refuge Egypt (2006 - 2009)

The main aim of this project is to meet the pressing needs of the newcomers in terms of health care, distribution of food and clothing, and education; and encouraging self-reliance through local skills and income-generating small projects.

Another aim is to provide a place where displaced people can feel welcome and accepted; where their concerns are taken seriously and where they can find some respite from the troubles they face and can meet with their friends. The project also aims to assist newcomer asylum seekers in their interaction with the international community.
