Tanzania - Katoke School Computer Project

Partner: Diocese of Lweru (2009 - 2011)

This Project seeks to establish Katoke-Lweru Secondary School as a recognised centre of excellence in computing. Computers have been installed and instruction provided in the basics of computing. This will allow students to access the Internet for educational purposes . In particular the school will become a Lighthouse for in-service education of teachers and a facility supporting those who want to improve their computing skills. In addition, its facilities will serve as a community resource ultimately to link people around Katoke with others in Tanzania and across the world.
