Uganda - Kyabyome Community-Based Skills Training Project

Partner: Toro Integrated Childcare (2009 - 2011)

ORAF is partnering with Toro Integrated Childcare in a project that provides vocational skills training and microfinance services to youth and adults. The project uses local people, local resources and existing infrastructure to provide vocational training. Microfinance services enable individuals to draw low-interest loans to be used in the establishment of income generating activities. By generating an income, a person can become self-reliant and be empowered to decide the direction of their future.
